We would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support. Our dad's send off was exactly what he would have wanted and it is wonderful to hear all the great stories on lives he has touched.

I wish to offer my condolences to all who loved Dick Sheridan. I knew him from my time at Lakewood Hay&Grain, where he was a regular customer. He was one of the strongest and hardest working people I ever knew, and he was always fun to have around. Gerry Larrivee

To all the Sheridan Children, Kathleen, Rosemary, Richard, & Matt, I want to extend to your whole family my sincere condolences on the loss of your dad who was such a nice person and gentleman for all the years I was friends with him and your mom, Barbara, until she had passed away. I remember that day with such a heavy heart at times because she was such a wonderful person with such a personality and love of life, husband, and children. Your dad was the light of her life, and we shared many good times at the PAC, when you kids were in school with my children, and a personal friendship with my family of husband & children. I know I haven't seen 3 of you since mom passed on, and had the pleasure of seeing Kathleen one time at my stepdaughter's wedding. What a gift that was to see her, and knowing that all you children had grown and gone your separate ways. I saw dad a couple of times over the past yrs, but then lost contact when he became ill. I just can never forget that wonderful smile, and what a good dancer & friend he was to my whole family. We surely enjoyed our get togethers at the parties at the PAC, and all my memories of him was what a gentle person he was, & your mom was such a fun loving person. I'll say some silent prayers for your dad, and will dedicate my mass to him this week. The world has lost another good person, the only thing being is that he is back with mom and I know deep in my heart that he is happy, as she is, to be back together after all these yrs. since she passed on. Savor your memories of all the good times you had with your dad, & mom, too, and this will help you thru these trying times. It is so sad to lose someone, but he is in a better place where he will not be suffering, and that also should help you with those soothing memories of good times gone by. Feel free to give me a note on facebook or E=mail should you ever want to. I have never forgotten those wonderful childhood days between you all and my children.

Dick was a great guy who always made you smile or laugh. And to get him to smile and light up was as easy as asking him about his children. Countless times at the Harp & Shamrock he would talk about how proud he was of all of you. A great kind man who will be missed. Please let us know if there is anything you need.
