WILLIAM N. "SONNY" PUHACZ

William N. Puhacz, 86, Affectionatly known to many as “SONNY” of Providence passed away Monday December 26, 2016 at his home.  Born in Providence, RI he was the son of the late Nicholas & Della (Kimball) Puhacz. Mr. Puhacz was an Army Veteran serving his country with pride and distinction during the Korean War.

William worked in the Jewelry industry until he retired.

He leaves two Stepson James and Chuck McCreery; a stepdaughter Linda Lufkin; brother John Puhacz of Woodstock, CT; Grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.  He was the father of the late William N. Puhacz, Jr.

 A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 11 am in Mount St. Mary Cemetery Chapel in Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Jones- Walton-Sheridan Funeral home 1895 Broad Street Cranston, RI 02905.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O.
