Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Dolores' family.
Beautiful Dolores -- Always gacious, always kind and such a warm, giving spirit, Vivian's kids will never, ever forget you. How blessed we were to have had you in our lives. I know there are many who have gone before us that have celebrated your joyous arrival to the house of Our Father --- "whoever believes in him shall not perish".

Dear Cousins,
I know that Dolores is with all our passed love ones and free from pain and suffering, I know for our earthly selves, our hearts ache. I enjoyed our talks about family history and all the joys we shared and had in common . She loved all her family with a strong and special love. She was the "keeper" of family treasures, history, honors, memories.... We honor her, treasure her , and KEEP her memories close to get through this life with the histories and love she generously shared. I will keep the promise I made to her to continue the research and preservation of our family culture and history. Doing this will enable me/us to honor her and all the wonderful spirits and beings that she has joined now. Thank you cousin, love you very much....until eternity ox. Mindy

My deepest sympathy to the Prout, Almeida family and all the grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family.

Thursday, May 28, 2012 the gates of glory opened wide to welcome dear Sister Dolores. I dare say she was a sister-in Christ to me. I will miss her very much. Her gentle spirit, words of encouragement, wisdom and abiding -strong faith shall forever be missed by me and all who loved her. I could always count on her to lift me up with her grace, support, and strong belief in God that through Him all would be possible. She was a Woman of the Word, and a serious prayer warrior.
I was always inspired by her style and said, called Dolores a Classy-Stylin’ Woman. Sometimes soft, very feminine and delicate. So Simple and Chicque. Dolores wore great accessories without going overboard. She made a statement with her signature style. I will always carry memories of her warm greeting, kindness and “morabeza” towards me and how in our conversations she always spoke to me in Crioulu which I loved and understood. It was the spoken crioulu that I understood.

Sister Dolores is saying, “If you could see me now -I'm walking tall and whole-If you could see me now - You'd know I've seen His face- If you could see me now - You'd know the pain's erased - You wouldn't want me - to ever leave this place - If only you could see me now.”

Praying for the family, IsaBella Livramento
