Biography

Fernandes, Zulmira, 72, passed away Tuesday at home.
Born in Cape Verde Islands, she was a daughter of the late Anibal daVeiga Fernandes and Adelina M. Robaldo.
She is survived by her husband Francisco Goncalves, 8 children; Lidia, Ermelinda, Ana, Arlindo, Eduardo, Antonio, Jorge, Alice Goncalves, as well as 12 grandchildren.
Sister of Belmira Fernandes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30am in St. Michael Church, 239 Oxford St., Providence.
Burial will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Cranston.
