WALTER FISHER

Fisher Jr., Walter E., 85, of Cranston for many years, passed away December 4, 2007 at R.I. Hospital after a two month illness. He was the husband of Mary B. (Fidrych) Fisher; they were married 61 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Walter E. and Eugenia (Bitney) Fisher Sr.
Walter was a U.S. Navy veteran. He served in the Pacific during WWII. He worked for General Electric as a development mechanic for 26 years and at Esposito Jewelry as a toolmaker, retiring in 1984. He was an avid golfer.
He was the beloved father of Donna J. Neary, Robert E. Fisher and Lori E. DaSilva. Grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 3. He was brother of the late A. Paul Fisher.
