Rita A. (Geoghegan) Pilkington

   Pilkington, Rita A. (Geoghegan),91, of Cranston, passed away December 24, 2020. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Turbitt) Geoghegan. Rita graduated from the University of RI. She was a School Teacher then followed by working as a Social Worker for the State of RI. She was the mother of John J. Pilkington and his wife Susan, Arthur T. Pilkington, Rita M. Brown and Nancy A. Ketner and her husband Justin, sister of Margaret Thoren. Grandmother of John and James Pilkington and Zackary and Sarah Bliss. She was mother in law of the late Raymond Brown and sister of the late Msgr. Arthur , Dr. Leo and Joseph Geoghegan and Dr. Eileen Mullen. 
  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston at 10:00AM Burial will be private.
