RITA L. PARADISE

Biography

Paradise, Rita, L., of Endicott Dr., Warwick, passed away Wednesday at South County Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Sullivan) Paradise. She is survived by her three sisters, Claire H. Paradise, Marie T. Hickey and Lorraine M. Hempe, also survived by 7 nieces and nephews and 12 Great nieces and nephews.
Rita received her B.S. and M.A. degrees from Salve Regina University. Rita taught at Newport Hospital School of Nursing and worked at Roger Williams Hospital. During the last 20 years of her distinguished career she was a school nurse in Attleboro, MA until retirement in 2006. She was a communicant of SS. Rose and Clement Parish.
