RAMON L. SANCHEZ

Ramon Sanchez, 79, of Providence, born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, passed away on March 3, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Francisca (Cosme) Sanchez for 57 years and the son of the late Ramon Vazquez and Carmen Sanchez.   

He is survived by his loving children Angelita Almeida and her husband Kevin of Providence and Ramon Sanchez and his wife Julia of Warwick; Grandchildren: Krystal, Kevin, Aleksander and Zofia and great grandchild William (Hollywood). 

He was the brother of Carmen Garcia, Julio, Victor, Julio and Carlos Vazquez and was predeceased by brothers Rafael and Jorge Vazquez.

Ramon worked for Regal Plating for 40 years.  He was an avid softball player and played for the RI Senior Softball League for approximately 20 years.

Funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the JONES-WALTON-SHERIDAN Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Michael Church, Oxford St., Providence, at 10:00 AM.  Burial at Lakeside Cemetery, Rumford, RI
