Michael P. Stanley

Michael P. Stanley, aged 64 of Smithfield passed away Thursday, June 30th., after a battle with cancer. Michael graduated from the Rhode Island School of the Deaf in 1978 and later worked as a machinist for Mahr manufacturing. Michael was an active member of the deaf community and loved spending time with both friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Capt. Michael and Helen (Chubay) Stanley of Woonsocket. He is survived by his son Corey, his daughter-in-law, Olivia, 3 grandchildren; Michael, Charlie, and Jaxon, his sister Elaine Petras and many cousins and close friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral home in Cranston at 11 AM.
