Matthew T. DeGeorge

Matthew Thomas DeGeorge of Providence passed away at age 54 on January 15, 2022. He is survived by his mother Ellen (Driscoll) De George, his father George (Denise) P. DeGeorge, his sister Ruth-Ellen (Christopher) Bradshaw, his aunt Elizabeth (David) Pezzullo, his uncle Edward (Jodi) J. McCabe, by many cousins in the DeGeorge/Colletti family and in the Driscoll/Igoe/McCabe family and his girlfriend, Lisa Levasseur Wolters. 

He was a graduate of St. Augustine’s School, Our Lady of Providence Preparatory Seminary, and the New England Institute of Technology. He worked in computer and information technology for such companies as Verizon, Computer Share, and SMS Data Products. He was valued for his expertise and reliability. Family and friends loved him for his gentle manner and his desire to remain connected. He brought a smile to everyone's face. He will be deeply missed. 

Funeral Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Church, 20 Old Road (Entrance on Mt. Pleasant Ave.) Providence. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery, 475 East Britannia St., Taunton, MA.

Calling Hours Friday, April 22, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave. Cranston, RI
