Mary M. (Garahan) Scanlon

Mary M. Scanlon (Garahan), 92, passed away March 3, 2025 at Greenwich Farms in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Andrew Scanlon. Born in Roscommon, Ireland, a daughter of the late James and Cecelia (Fallon) Garahan. Mary worked for FM Global for 20 years retiring in 1998.

She was the mother of Andrew P. Jr., Patrick J., James E. and John J. Scanlon, sister of Dorothy Mulrennan, grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 7. She was sister of the late James, John Garahan and Eileen Murray.

Funeral Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 AM at Assumption Church, 791 Potters Ave., Providence. Burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI
