Mary Laffey

Mary T. (Lavey) Laffey, 96, passed away January 18, 2026 at Evergreen Nursing Home in RI She was the wife of the late John J. Laffey. Born in Richford, Vermont a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Cull) Lavery. 

Mary was a Registered Nurse for many years. She had lived in Edgewood for many years and was a communicant of St. Paul’s Church in Cranston. 

She was the loving mother of Stephen P., Michael J. Laffey and Eileen D. Laffey and the late John J. Laffey Jr. and Mary E. Laffey, grandmother of 6, sister of Margaret Spicer, Monica "Miki" Woodruff and sister in law Patricia Lavey, she was sister of the late Pat Carroll and Ray Lavery.

A private burial will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston, RI
