LUZ RAMOS

Biography

RAMOS, LUZ 78, of Providence for many years, passed away December 5, 2007 at R.I. Hospital.

Born in Dominican Republic, a daughter of the late Arturo and Ana (Francisca) Ramos, she had emigrated to the U.S. in 1969

Luz was well known in the Washington Park Community, she was a generous friend and loving mother.

She extended a loving hand to all and there existed no one she was reluctant to help. Those who knew her will miss her dearly; those who did not will hear stories about her never ending generosity.

She is survived by loving children; Yselsa, Ana, Rodis, Guarina, Rita and Carlos, and her sister Migdalia, as well as 21 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was the mother of the late Alida.

Funeral Service Monday at 11:00am in the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., at Park Ave., Cranston.

Calling Hours Sunday 2-5pm. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Cranston.
