Kathleen M. (Anderson) LaCroix, 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, April 5, 2021, at the Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of RI. Kathleen was the loving wife of the late Alfred A. LaCroix for 44 years. Kathleen was born in Providence, RI, the daughter of Harold and Mary Anderson. She was a graduate of St. Xavier's School, Providence, RI. Kathleen worked as a switchboard operator, and was a homemaker. She loved playing cribbage with her husband, gardening, feeding wild birds, and was a cruciverbalist (a crossword puzzle enthusiast). Kathleen lived in the Edgewood section of Cranston for 44 years.
Kathleen is survived by her children: Donna McGowan and her husband, William, Michael LaCroix and his wife, Kate, Patricia Dill whose beloved husband, Robert, predeceased Kathleen, Jeffrey LaCroix and his wife, Ivone, and Michelle O'Connor and her husband, Christopher. Kathleen's legacy includes 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, April 9, 4-7PM, Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad Street, Cranston, RI. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 10, 10:00AM, at St. Paul's Church, 30 Warwick Avenue, Cranston, RI. Burial will be private. A collation in honor of Kathleen's life will be held following the mass. Further details will be provided at that time.
