JOSEPH BLANCO, JR.

Joseph Blanco, Jr. 79, of Warwick passed away peacefully late Wednesday night at Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick.  He was the devoted husband of Denise (Warburton) Blanco.  Born in Providence he was the son of the Joseph & Juanita (Castro) Blanco.

Mr. Blanco was a retired school teacher for the Warwick school department and also worked as an auto traveler counselor for AAA.

Besides his loving wife he is survived by three sons; Jeffrey S. Blanco, James J. Blanco and his companion Fernanda Lima and Keith E. Blanco and his wife Lisa; four grandchildren and one great grandchild and several niece and nephews.  He was the brother of the late  Julio & Nelson Blanco and Marina Lussier.  

A celebration of life service will be held Monday at 7 PM in The Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home 1895 Broad Street Cranston, RI 02905.  Calling hours Monday prior to the service from 4-7 PM.  Burial will be private at the request of the family. Please visit www.jwsfh.com for additional information.
