Helen D. Gilroy

  Helen Dillon Gilroy, 91, of Cranston, passed away on 12/22/2020 with family members in attendance at RIH. She was born to the late David and Eleanor (McDermott) Dillon, on 12/27/28 in Providence, RI.
   Helen was preceded in death by her husband John J. Gilroy Jr. and her son David J. Gilroy, as well as her brother David Dillon and her sister Elizabeth Dillon Dyer. She is survived by her son John J Gilroy III and his wife Donna, her son Paul J Gilroy and his wife Deborah, and son Mark J Gilroy and his wife Marie. Seven grandchildren Patrick Gilroy and his wife Jennifer, Evan Gilroy and his fiancé Robyn, Dane Gilroy and his wife Rachel, Chase Gilroy, Amanda Gilroy, Molly Gilroy and Mark Gilroy Jr., as well as three great grandchildren: Jaymen Gilroy, Skyla Gilroy and Ava Gilroy. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family, extended family, neighbors and friends. 
   Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St Paul’s Church, 1 St Paul’s Pl., Cranston at 10:00 am on Monday December 28th. Visiting hours respectfully omitted, Burial private for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Helen’s name to the American Heart Association.
