George P. Kirk Obituary

George P Kirk
Born in Providence to Dr. George E. and Helen E. Kirk. Devoted father to George E. Kirk, Joshua R. Kirk, and Hannah S. Kirk. Loving brother to Helen Kirk, Elizabeth Davignon, and Jenniefer Kirk. He was the former husband of Eileen Lyons.
George was the Vice President of Kirk’s Folly, a family-owned jewelry company with his three sisters for 40 years. He was known for his kindness, hard work and a loyal friend. He was an inventor and a creative problem solver.
A graduate of Moses Brown School and the University of Rhode Island. George loved fast cars, boats, music, history, animals, and practical jokes.
His pride and joy were his three children who cared for him while he lived with Alzheimer’s disease. He will be remembered whenever we are on the water, watching fireworks or laughing remembering a lifetime of adventures together. A celebration of George’s life with family and friends will be held.
