Francisco Goncalves

Francisco Goncalves, 88, of Saratoga St., Providence, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Zulmira Fernandes.

Born in Santiago, Cabo Verde, Francisco was the son of the late Arsénio Goncalves e Maria Soares Da Rosa Francisco.

He is survived by his children; Lidia Goncalves, Ermilinda Goncalves, Ana Vicente, Arlindo Goncalves, Eduardo Goncalves, Antonio Goncalves, Jorge Goncalves, and Maria Alice Goncalves.  He also leaves 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

His Funeral will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 8 am from Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad street at Park Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 9 am in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 239 Oxford St, Providence. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, 1569 Broad St. Cranston. Visiting hours, Tuesday 5-8 pm.
