Francisca C. Sanchez

Francisca “Chela” C. Sanchez, 87, of Providence, born in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024 at home surrounded by family.  She was the wife of the late Ramon L. Sanchez and the daughter of the late Encarnacion Cosme and Juan Vazquez.

She is survived by her loving children, Angelita Almeida and her husband Kevin of Providence and Ramon Sanchez and his wife Julia of Warwick. Grandchildren, Krystal and her husband William, Kevin, Aleksander and Zofia; great grandchild William.

She is survived by her brother Ruben Garcia of Puerto Rico and sister Aida Colon of Providence. She was preceded in death by Ana Maria, Angel, Hipolito Cosme, Jose and Jacinto Garcia.

Francisca worked for Sprague Industries until her retirement and she enjoyed cooking and cleaning her sink.

She will be sadly missed by the many nieces, nephews, God children and friends.

Funeral Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Oxford St., Providence at 10:00 AM
