Fernanda M. Lima

Fernanda Lima, Age 58, of Norwich, CT, passed away peacefully after battling cancer on Saturday, April 30th, 2022.

She was the Fiancé of James Blanco, with whom she shared 26 years of partnership with.

Born in the Azores, Portugal, and raised in New England, she was the daughter of Maria Lima and the late Fernando Lima. 

She was a Paralegal for the Law Firm Green and Greenberg in Providence, RI, for over 25 years. 

Her family was her life, and she enjoyed spending time with them and celebrating every chance she had. Her warm heart and smile left an impression on everyone. 

In addition to her Fiancé, she is survived by her sons; Derek Cardoza and Craig Newman, granddaughter; Amelia Rose Cardoza, and her daughter-in-law Briahna Cardoza. She was the sister of Theresa Pereira, Robert Lima, Edward Lima, and David Lima. 

Calling hours will be held Thursday, May 5th., from 4:00 pm to 6:45 pm, with a funeral service to follow from 6:45 pm - 7:00 pm.
