Simas, Emanuel A., 84, of Warwick passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late Helen D. (Kosinski) Simas. Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Emanuel A. and Myrtle (Cherry) Simas. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the U.S. Army. He had worked for Pease & Curren Gold & Precious Metal Refining for many years. He is survived by his children; James Simas, Gail Andre, and Craig Simas, as well as 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He also leaves a brother; Joseph Simas, and a sister; Virginia Nichols. He was the father of the late Emanuel Simas III, grandfather of the late Jason Simas and Scott Bobinski, and brother of the late Frank Simas, Anna Gill, Eva Murray, Antonio Simas and Lucretia Adams.
Funeral Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., at Park Avenue, Cranston. Interment with Military Honors will be held at the RI Veterans Cemetery, 301 S. County Tr., Exeter, RI at 10:30 a.m. Calling hours Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
