Edward F. Souza

Edward F. Souza, 66, of Warwick passed peacefully surrounded by family on March 5th, 2022.

He was the husband of the late Loretta (Gomez) Souza. 

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Manuel and Hazel (Mountain) Souza. 

He was the father of Kathy A. Souza and Elizabeth Souza. He also leaves two sisters; Mary Bernard (Alfred) and Margaret Derrick, as well as a grandson; David A. Souza; and two nieces; Lisa Bernard and Janai Derrick. He was the brother of the late Frances Watson, August Souza, and Michael Souza. 

Edward retired from a career as a carpenter/cabinet maker in 2000.  He spent many days golfing and enjoyed 25 lovely years with Loretta and her family.

Friends and family are invited and may call at The Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., at Park Ave., Cranston, Wednesday, March 9th, 2022, from 10-11 am, with a funeral service at 11 am. Interment with committal prayers will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
