Dorothea (Ruggieri) Cary

Dorothea Cary, died June 4, 2020 at RI Hospital, she was the wife of the late Walter "Bill" Cary.

Born in Warwick a daughter of the late James Ruggieri and Lillian (Downing) Ruggieri.

She was a school teacher in the Warwick School Dept. for many years and also worked for the State of RI.She received her Masters from URI and was a member of the American Legion woman's auxiliary, William Shields Post in Warwick.

Mother of Stephen Cary and Michael Cary and his wife Laurie and the late William Cary, sister of Thomas, William, Jack Ruggieri and the late Ralph, "Buddy",Patrick Ruggieri, Lillian Cota, Martha Penler and Lucile Marcello, grandmother of Joel Felecio, Benjamin, Kristin, Meghan and Jennifer Cary, Great grandmother of Lucy and Cameron.

Burial was respectfully held Private.
