Dennis D. Robbins, 75, of Coventry, RI, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Richard Robbins and his wife Jean Robbins, and the late Rita Robbins (Moran).
Dennis proudly served his country in Vietnam, earning the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with Four Bronze Service Stars, and the Army Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster. After his military service, he pursued a career as an accountant.
His favorite pastimes included reading, golfing, watching sports, and spending time with family. He was an avid animal lover and was known to all for his generous spirit and loving heart.
Dennis is survived by his siblings: William Clark and his wife Donna, Mary Burns and her husband Marty, Diane Orlando and her wife Cathy, and Valerie Zuercher and her husband Bill. He was also the brother of the late Richard Robbins and his wife Debra. Dennis was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, including the late Corey Sanville.
Funeral Service and Military honors burial will be held respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the Rhode Island SPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886.
