Cynthia (Sandbergen) Shappy

Cynthia Shappy (Sandbergen), 78, of Edgewood, Cranston, died February 14, 2024, at Morgan Health Center. She was the wife of Leonard R. Shappy.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William F. and Theresa (Gavin) Sandbergen. Cynthia had counselled for Weight Watchers and was a cashier at Johnson and Wales University.

Besides her husband she leaves four daughters Shearon Sevigny (Thomas), Susan Shappy, Carolyn Shappy, and Christine Cowen, a brother William Sandbergen (Elaine), 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Carole Stone.
