Charles Stephen Michaud, “Steve” of Barrington, RI passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on 1/24/24.
He was beloved by many family and friends. He leaves his wife, Spence Hobbs of Barrington, RI and his step-son, Forester Hobbs of Boston, MA, his daughter and her husband, Sheryl and Adam Greene and grandchildren, Alexandra and Adam, Jr. of Cranston, RI. He is also survived by his brothers; Robert, Jeffrey, Kenny, Douglas and his wife Helen, and many nephews and nieces. He is pre-deceased by his parent’s Charles and Mary (Quirk) Michaud and his brother, Alan, all of Cranston, RI.
He was an avid sailor and “jack of all trades”, working for many years as a property manager for Weiss Properties/Realtors. He was known all over RI as the “Eastside Handyman”.
His positive attitude and perpetually optimistic outlook will forever be missed but remain legendary with all who were lucky enough to have known him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
