Carolyn Elizabeth (Pratt) Dalton, RN

DALTON, CAROLYN ELIZABETH (PRATT), RN age 78 of Warwick, died March 21, 2020, peacefully at home surrounded by her caring family.  Carolyn was the loving wife of the late Daniel J. Dalton III for 26 years.  Born in Warwick, the daughter of Edwin K. and Martha Taylor Pratt.  She is survived by her children, Cathy Duquette (George Greenleaf); Cynthia Boehm (Stephen); David Duquette (Michele); and Joseph Duquette. She was the sister of William and Donald Pratt; Linda Ruscio; and the late Edwin, Robert and David Pratt.  Carolyn was G Ma to nine wonderful grandchildren, Jennifer, Renee, David, Janelle, Matthew, Joseph, Dylan, Ashley and Davis.  Great grandmother to Justin, Jayden, Cameron, Ethan, Juliana, Maxwell and Layla.  Carolyn was the former wife of Irving Duquette, Jr.  She was employed at Kent Hospital for 41 years before her retirement in 2001 as Nurse Manager of the Women’s Care Unit.  Following in her mother’s footsteps, her passion in life was doing for others.  Funeral will be private with a Celebration of Life service to be scheduled at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Visiting Nurse Home & Hospice of Portsmouth, RI.
