Brian Schneider, 44, passed away on January 28, 2026. He was born on March 6, 1981. Brian was preceded in death by his father and dear friend, John Schneider, whom he missed deeply and with whom he is now reunited. He was an attentive son to Eleanor Schneider, a devoted brother to Timothy Schneider (Christine Schneider) and Kevin Schneider (Grace Schneider),and a thoughtful uncle who favored his nieces and nephews. Brian was a caring partner to Ashley Borodemos, a loving companion and role model to her 2 sons, and a committed father and confidant to his daughter Brianna Schneider.
Brian moved through the world with warmth and quiet generosity. He was approachable, quick to smile, and he had a way of making people feel welcome and remembered. His work as a CDL Truck Driver gave him the action he sought. He had a playful sense of humor and was especially good with animals. His greatest joy came from his beloved bunnies, Marshmallow and Meatball. They had an entire room to themselves with all the toys and treats he thought they deserved. Don’t forget the live camera feed that he proudly shared with everyone!
Recovery and personal growth were meaningful and ongoing parts of Brian’s life. He built strong bonds through shared experience and mutual support and was known for showing up—offering rides, time, and hard-earned perspective. Helping others mattered, and his influence reached far beyond what he ever claimed for himself.
A few of the things that Brian loved:
• a good meal. Whether it was a dinner out with his mom and daughter every week or a family holiday dinner where everyone pitched in, the kitchen buzzed, and Brian reliably made sure every cookie disappeared.
• visiting his brother Timmy and sister-in-law Chris in Vermont, where Brian was always on the lookout for a moose—hopeful every single time.
• anything outdoors, camping, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and traveling…all things that matched his curious spirit and his love of being out in the world.
• cherished road trips and short escapes with his longtime partner Ashley, savoring the time side by side as much as the destinations themselves. Whether by themselves or with Ashley’s two sons, there was excitement and laughter.
• a close and enduring bond with his mother, Eleanor Schneider. They spent time together, unhurried, and easy moments that reflected how deeply he valued their connection.
Above all else, Brian was a devoted father to his daughter, Brianna—and she was his best friend. Their bond was rare and deeply special. He was her ski partner, camping companion, road-trip copilot, and loudest supporter at sporting events. This past year, he proudly joined her in playing softball, fully aware he would never be as good as she was—but loving every moment of being part of it. Brian believed deeply in teaching Brianna that if you could be two things in life, they should be kind and grateful.
Brian’s loss was sudden and is felt profoundly by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his generosity, his love of adventure and shared journeys, and the steady way he showed up for people— often quietly, always sincerely.
