Graziela “Grace” Leclerc, 50, of Johnston passed away peacefully Monday, March 11, 2019, at Kent Hospital in Warwick, with her children by her side. Born in Terceira, Portugal, She immigrated to the US in 1978 with her family. She was the daughter of Gilberto and the late Maria (Rodrigues) Salgueiro.
Grace also known as Gracie also known as linlin, grammy, and ma. She was known for her sense of humor and vivacious personality. Many people referred to her as the spicy one. At 4 foot 10 ½, She sure did pack a punch! She was a humble woman who offered everything she had to the ones she loved and her community!
Grace was a dedicated employee of Dunkin Donuts for over 30 years. 23 of those years were spent as a Store Manager at the Dunkin Donuts on Plainfield Pike in Johnston, RI. The remaining years spent at the Dunkin Donuts on Belmont St. in Brockton Massachusetts. In her time with the company, she was admired for many of her accomplishments and achievements.
She was a communicant of Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in Providence.
She is survived by a son; Robert J. Leach, III & spouse Rhea Jones of Coventry, two daughters; Amanda M. Prado (Leach) & spouse Robin Jerez of North Providence and Jessica L. Johnson (Leclerc) & spouse Ryan Johnson of West Warwick; five brothers Gilberto, Luis and Jose Cacador, Edmundo and Paulo Salgueiro; Two sisters Maria Silva and Lucia Carvalho; two sister-in-laws Maria Cacador and Maria Salgueiro; 2 granddaughters Rylee & Jacee and 2 grandsons Jaiden and Adrian.
Funeral Mass to be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 10:00 AM in Saint Rocco’s Catholic Church 927 Atwood Ave, Johnston RI 02919.Burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI. Visiting hours Monday 4:00-7:00 PM. The family is accepting flowers and donations.
