DONALD PATON

Donald Paton, 75, of Warwick, RI for the last fifteen years and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away Sunday Morning  April 30th, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence, surrounded by his loving family.  “Donald” was the devoted Husband of Stephanie M. (Mooney) Paton. Born in Sale, Cheshire, United Kingdom in 1942, he was the son of the late Albert & Ivy (Alston) Paton.

Mr. Paton had degrees in Engineering and Business Administration and worked in the field of Energy/Power Generation. Donald enjoyed spending time with family and friends all over the world. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed sailing Narragansett Bay.  Donald was an active member of Edgewood Yacht Club, a former member of Rhode Island Yacht Club as well as an active golfer at Valley Country Club in Warwick

Donald is survived by his son, Keith M. Paton and his wife Tomomi of Tokyo, Japan; a daughter Alexandra K. Paton of Greenwich, CT; a brother Neil Paton of Wilmslow, United Kingdom.  He is also survived by two grandsons: Alexander & Cameron Paton of Tokyo, Japan.

Celebration of life gathering will be held Friday May 12th Between 5-8 PM in the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., at Park Ave., Cranston.
