Robert S. Kent

  Robert S. Kent, 60, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2021, at home. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Robert S. and Margaret (Edwards) Kent of Cape Coral, FL. In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by his daughters; Mary MacBeth and Abby MacBeth both of RI, as well as his sister and brother-in-law; Kathy Kent and Paul Long of Cranston. He also leaves grandsons; Adam & Mason Figueiredo, of RI, and nieces; Ashley Folco & Reagan Boudreau of St. George, UT.

   He was a 1979 graduate of LaSalle Academy, where excelled in football and selected as All-State in Baseball. He had attended the University of Maine and SUNY Fredonia. In his youth, Robert also played baseball for Edgewood South Elmwood Little League, and football for the Edgewood Eagles. 

  Funeral services and burial will be private.
