Gennaro Pagnozzi (Jerry), 91 of Arlington Avenue, died Friday, April 3, 2020 at Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfonse and Antonetta (Borelli) Pagnozzi. He was the husband to the late Beverly (Babcock) Pagnozzi, they were married for 40 years. Jerry was a polisher for Kinney Company for over 20 years.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Cranston Senior Center, where he could be found playing pool and bocce. He was an avid golfer and a member of Triggs Golf Course. He also enjoyed bowling where he played on a weekly Friday night league. He competed in the Senior Olympics for many years receiving medals on the bocce court.
Papa, as his grandkids called him, was the #1 fan for all their sports and activities. He was very proud of his family.
He is survived by his beloved children, Jerilyn Perry and husband Dan, Matthew Pagnozzi and wife Donna, Gail Degnan and Susan Pagnozzi, as well as his grandchildren, Tyler and wife Emily , Heather, Evan, Alexandra, Matthew, Taylor, Chad, Jake, and David.
Jerry was the last surviving family member being predeceased by Jenny O’Brien, Domenic Pagnozzi, Orlando Pagnozzi, Onofrio Pagnozzi and Paul Pagnozzi.
Due to the current circumstances a memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
