ROSE D. (Dalton) BUNKER

BUNKER, Rose (Dalton), passed away Monday, April 13, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She now joins her beloved husband, Lindol “Bud” Bunker together in eternal life.

   She was the cherished daughter of the late William A. and Rose A. (Burns) Dalton.

   A graduate of St. Xavier Academy, she was a Rhode Island and National Honor Society member and president of Senior I.  Also graduating from Bryant College she was on the staff of “The Ledger.”

   She was an officer in the Business Women’s Sorority Beta Sigma Phi.  She was an Executive Secretary and retired as an administrative Assistant to devote her time to her family and to practice stewardship at St. Paul Parish of Edgewood.

   She held office in the St. Paul Women’s Club and chaired or co-chaired several parish celebrations.  She was a member of the parish Finance Council and served in the Ministry of greeter.  She was also a member of Catholics for Life and Rhode Island Right to Life.

   She is survived by her beloved sons; Kenneth L. Bunker and his wife Brenda J. and William D. Bunker and his wife Paula, also her loving grandsons Ryan Bunker and Nicholas Howard, as well as her brother Robert F. Dalton and niece Donna Kevis.

  Her Funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00am from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Pl., Cranston.  Graveside Interment in St. Francis Cemetery,Pawtucket.  Calling hours Friday 4:00pm –7:00pm.
