ROBERT "BOB' J. SCHERMACK

Robert (Bob) Schermack, age 102, of Bowling Green, Kentucky died on November 7, 2017 at Scandinavian Home in Cranston.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan to Alfred Schermack and Grace Richards, and was predeceased by his sister Florence, brother Alfred, and his beloved wife of 71 years, Annie Tinsley.

Bob also lived in Evansville, Indiana and Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. He was an avid golfer, photographer and sports enthusiast. He worked in the defense industry during World War II, then for Curtis Publishing Company, and later as a furniture manufacturer’s representative.   

Bob is survived by his three children, Ellen Vowells and husband Sam, Barbara Schermack and husband Michael Moore, and Robert Schermack; three grandchildren:  Christopher Vowells, Caitlin Moore and Benjamin Schermack-Moore; and four great grandchildren.      

Services will be held in Bowling Green, and memorial contributions may be made to Scandinavian Home, 1811 Broad Street, Cranston, RI 02905.
