M. PATRICIA (Buckley) HJERPE

Hjerpe, M. Patricia, 87, of Edgewood, passed away April 19th, at home, surrounded by her loving family.  “Pat” was the devoted wife of the late Wallace C. Hjerpe, and the daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys (Whitehead) Buckley.

Born in Providence in 1930, one of eight siblings, Pat lived in Edgewood for almost 70 years. She was employed as a pension administrator at Angell Pension Group, as well as a business partner with her husband, Wally, at Edgewood Service.    

Pat is survived by her son, Carl E. Hjerpe and his wife Susan of Edgewood. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Carl E. Jr., Bridget M., Eric W., and Michael P., Hjerpe, all of Edgewood, one great grandchild, Carl E. III, and a brother, Ronal Buckley, of Johnston.  She is the sister of the late Thomas, Donal, James, Richard, John and Gerald Buckley.

Funeral Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Paul Church, Cranston.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  Calling Hours Monday, 4:00-7:00.
