MARGUERITE "MIDGE" LEWIS

   Marguerite “Midge” Lewis (DiLuglio), 92, of Cranston, passed away March 18, 2017. She was the wife of the late Samson A. Lewis Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred A. (Riley) DiLuglio. Mother of Samson Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada and David Lewis of Cranston, Dorothy Jackson of Warwick and the late Jane F. Bailey and Sharyn Paolino, sister of Dorothy Pinelli of Delaware, Lareine Normandin of California and the late Ernest Jr., LeRoy DiLuglio and Jane Rainone. She was the grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 16, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Lewis was a past President of the American Legion Auxilary, a Girl State coordinator, Eucharistic Minister at St. Gregory Church and a leader with both Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts.

   Funeral Friday at 9 A.M. from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 A.M. in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Pl., Cranston, Burial will be held in R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
