LEWIS J. BAIN

Bain, Lewis J., Sr., 100, of Cranston, passed away November 11, 2014. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Ivers) Bain.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Lewis and Mabel (Brennan) Bain and grandson of the late Hugh B. Bain.
Mr. Bain was a graduate of University of RI, with an Engineering Degree. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy as a Lieutenant. Lewis worked as a Mechanical Engineer for over 30 years at Fenton J. Keyes Association. He had been the oldest living member of Lamba Chi Fraternity. Lewis was a member of the Cranston East Hockey team that went undefeated and was never scored upon the entire season, which record stands today. 
He was the father of Lewis J., Jr., William, Judith Bain, Joan Hardin and Carol Lennon, grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 5.

Funeral Service Friday at 10:00 AM at the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St at Park Ave., Cranston.
Visiting hour Friday morning 9:00-10:00 AM.
Burial will be held at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crohns & Colitus Foundation, 72 River St., Su. 202, Needham Heights, MA 02494
