I was saddened to hear this news. I remember Kathy well from Saint Joe's. What I remember most about her is how much she loved her family. She had pictures by her computer. Anytime, she would get a little cranky, I would ask her about her kids....and She smiled like the Sunshine!! Rest in Peace, My Friend!

Dear Michael, Maureen & Jay
My very deepest sympathy on the loss of Kathy. What a shock to see her smiling face in the paper. I have such fond memories of Kathy and all the activities surrounding hockey. Certain people are hard to forget and Kathy is certainly one of them. She certainly made a lasting impression on me. May you all be comforted by fond memories of Kathy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Fondly, "Miss Gus"

My deepest condolences to the Cabral family for the loss of your loved one, Mrs. Kathleen Cabral. Having suffered the loss of family and friends, I know firsthand the pain and turmoil of emotions we go through during times like this. Something that brings comfort to my heart is the hope found in the Holy Scriptures in Isaiah 25:8 & 33:24 that says: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. “And no resident will say I am sick”. Our loving creator has also made arrangements to bring back our loved ones by means of an earthly resurrection as stated in John 5:28. May these promises, give you the strength that you need during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Carol M.

So long ago - when we first met
A friendship was struck and we were set
We were stuck like glue, through thick and thin
We laughed, we cried, the trouble we sometimes got in
Then as life goes on and families are made
We were separated for a couple of decades
To find you again and be friends like before
I thought we were back in '74
We laughed, we cried, we fell back into place
And now my heart aches with a big empty space
I will never forget you - Bon voyage my sweet friend
I'll remember your love and your laughter
And hope my heart mends
