JOHN F. KELLY

John F. Kelly, 74, of Richmond Drive in Warwick passed away peacefully Monday evening April 17, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.  He was the loving husband of Lorraine J. (Almstrom) Kelly.  Born in Providence, Rhode Island he was the son of the late Thomas and Anna (LaPointe) Kelly. 

Mr. Kelly was the superintendent for the highway for the City of Warwick.  John was a member of the Teamsters local # 251 and Knights of Columbus Council # 1738. Mr. Kelly was a Marine and served his country with pride, honor & dignity during the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son; Donald R. Kelly and his wife Miriam of Warwick; three brothers Edward Kelly of California, Richard Kelly of Las Vegas and Patrick Kelly of Rhode Island; two grandchildren Lisa and John Kelly both of Warwick.  He was the father of the late John F. Kelly, Jr and Tina R. Kelly; Brother of the late Thomas, Robert, Joseph and Theresa Kelly.

The Funeral will be held Monday at 10 am in Saint Paul Church One Saint Paul Place Cranston, RI.  Burial with Military Honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence, RI. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
