JEANNE HOLMES

Jeanne Marie Holmes, 78, passed away at home, Tuesday, July 14th, surrounded by family and friends. She was the wife of Thomas William Holmes, Jr. They were married for 58 years.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of Richard and Isabelle Harnedy of Warwick, Rhode Island. She was a bookkeeper for William Leo & Sons and also worked at Twice Told Tales in Cranston, Rhode Island.

She will be remembered for her extraordinary skills as an artist, seamstress, quilter and knitter.

She is survived by her husband and three sons, Mark Richard and his wife Ann, Gregg Alan and his wife Lynn, and Eric Leonard and his wife Janice, eight granddaughters: Brooke, Victoria, Merrill, Cameron, Amanda, Loran, Kyra and Courtney. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas W. Holmes, III.

A private family service will be held.
