Ida Mae Markey, 94, of Cranston, passed away August 15, 2015. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Markey Sr. Born in Cranston, a daughter of the late John F. and Ida Mae (Dunley) Cooney.

She was the mother of Joseph H. Markey Jr. and John Markey, also grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 5

Funeral Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., Cranston, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church, Cranston St., at 11:00 AM.

Calling Hours Wednesday morning 9:00-10:00 AM Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Woonsocket Adult Alternative Day Care, 84 Social St., Woonsocket, RI 02895
