Dolores E. (Almeida) Prout, 79, of Providence, passed away May 28, 2015 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Care. She was the wife of George G. Prout.

   Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joaquim “Jack” Peter and Eva (Coelho) Almeida. Dolores was a genealogist and Minister, she had attended the Zion Bible Institute, as well as being an honorary member of the Northern Narragansett Indian Tribe.

   She was the mother of Randall, Glenn H. and Dale W. Hardy, sister of Janet Jiminez and the late Richard and Peter Almeida, grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 4.

   A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St., at Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI

   Calling Hours Wednesday morning 9:00-11:00 A.M.
