CHERYL SILVIA LOPES

  Cheryl Silvia Lopes., 62, of Pawtucket, formerly of Providence, passed away August 24, 2017 at Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the loving wife of John Lopes.
Born in Pawtucket she is the daughter of Charity (Hicks) Silvia and the late Calixto Silvia.
   Cheryl was the Director of Food and Beverages at Boston Symphony and Tanglewood for 32 years and President of R.P.M. Gospel Voices, she was the 2nd winner of Miss Black Rhode Island. Besides her husband and mother she was the mother of James Mendes, Darshell Silva and Takesha Lopes and grandmother of 5, loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Roger, Calixto and Cynthia Silvia.
   Funeral Thursday at 8:45 A.M. from the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Funeral Home, 1895 Broad St. at Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave., Pawtucket. Committal prayers will be held at Swan Point Chapel, Providence.
